Dispatched with Station 27 for a dwelling fire. 2311 responded with a crew of 3 and was ordered to proceed non-emergency. Investgiation found an overheated light ballast was the cause for the smoke. 27 Command cleared all units.

Dispatched to stand by at our station for a possible response with Station 28 who were responding to an auto accident on I-78 westbound at the toll plaza where is was reported that a passenger car was under a tractor trailer. 28 Command released our standby when arriving units found no entrappment or hazards necessitating our response.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a possible dwelling fire. 2311 responded with a crew of 2, but was cancelled enroute by 2852 on scene reporting a controlled burn.

Station 27 was dispatched for a dwelling fire. Update from Northampton County Radio was smoke in the structure. 2751 had us dispatched when arriving police reported smoke showing. 2312 responded with a crew of 6 and 2 firefighters entered the 2nd floor apartment to check for extension. A small fire was located in the basement and extinguished with a water can. Personnel remained on scene until the structure was cleared of smoke and scene secured. 27 Command then released us.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a working vehicle fire. 2311 responded with a crew of 4, and was ordered to stage at the overpass as 2811 had the fire under control already. 2311 was then released by 28 Command. 4 additional firefighters stood by at station.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a possible vehicle fire. 2311 responded with a crew of 4, and was ordered to stage at the overpass because their units were still on the highway from the previous incident and found an overheated vehicle. 2311 was then released by 28 Command. 4 additional firefighters stood by at station.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a working vehicle fire. 28 Command was in the area and held all units at station. 2311 stood fast at station with a crew of 5, with an additional 5 firefighters. All units were cancelled when the car was unfounded.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a dwelling fire caused by a lightnig strike. 2311 responded with a crew of 5, and all units were cancelled enroute by 2811 advising that a nearby tree was struck and knocked down and there was no problem with the dwelling. An addigional 6 firefighters stood by at station.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a natural gas leak. 2311 responded with a crew of 4, and was ordered to stage at Congressional Drive & Clubhourd Road. All units were released when it was confirmed by UGI that the valve was shut off and gas flow stopped.

I-78 Westbound, 1/2 mile east of the Toll Plaza,

Dispatched with Station 28 for an accident with injuries. 2312 responded with a crew of 5, and was ordered to stage at the overpass with 2811, 2814 and 2883 while 2841 & 2851 searched for the accident. All units were cleared when the accident could not be located. I-78 east and west were checked from the state line to the PA Rt. 33 interchange.
