Dispatched for a possible dwelling fire. Update from Northampton County Radio advised of a possible furnace problem. 2351 arrived at scene with 2311 and a crew of 5 shortly after. The homeowner had shut off the gas furnace when he discovered smove coming from the vents on the first and second floors. The unit was restarted in the hopes of determinging what the problem was. The unit fired, but the blower never came on. A call was placed to U.G.I. for a service response and the smoke was removed using P.P.V. and after the smoke was cleared all units cleared.

I-78 Westbound at mile marker 73,
Williams Township
Dispatched with Station 28 for a tractor trailer accident. Update from Northampton County Radio advised that there was a gasoline tanker rollover. 28 Command requested tankers be dispatched from Southeastern Fire Company, Station 62 and Reigelsville Fire Company, Bucks County Station 42. 2312 responded with a crew of 7. 28 Command arrived on scene and found a tractor trailer carrying sugar jack-knifed and struck another vehicle. There were minor injuries reported with minor entrappment in the passenger vehicle. 2312 was ordered to stage at the entrance of I-78 westbound at Morgan Hill Road and released by 28 Command when all occupants were removed.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a dwelling fire. It was found to be a mobil home that was well involved upon arrival of 28 Command. 2311 responded with a crew of 5 and 2312 responded with a crew of 4 and assisted in extinguishing and overhauling. Crews were released by 28 Command after 2 hours.

Dispatched with Station 27 for a dwelling fire. Upon arrival of 27 Command it was found to be a malfunctioning pellet stove and 23 units were cancelled prior to response.

Williams Township -
Dispatched with Station 28 for motor vehicle accident. 23 units were cancelled when it was disovered the call was in another stations automatic dispatch area.

Fire Station 23
Dispatched to stand by at our station to cover for Station 27 while they operated at an accident with entrappment. 6 firefighters stood by until released by 27 Command.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a dwelling fire. 28 Command arrived within minutes and reported nothing showing. Due to severe winter storm conditions 28 Command ordered 23 units to hold at station. 2311 was ready to respond with a crew of 5 and 2 other firefighters were at the station assembling a second engine crew when given the order to stand fast. 28 Command released 23 units after it was found to be smoke coming from the fire pit from a fireplace.

1500 block of Lehigh Drive,
West Easton
Dispatched for an E.M.S. assist for a man down in the roadway. This portion of Lehigh Drive is currently closed due to flooding of the Lehigh River. Update from 2785 was that there was a male laying on the ice over the roadway and appeared to be deceased. 2312 responded non-emergency with a crew of 2and 2 more arrived P.O.V. 2312 staged by the office building of Alstom with 2785 and Easton Police. There is a 15 foot embankment to reach the roadway. A 14' roof ladder was used for access to the roadway. Upon arrival of the Northampton County Coroner crews assisted in packaging the body and getting it up the embankment.

Dispatched for an Automatic Fire Alarm. Update from Northampton County Radio advised of a water flow alarm. 2312 responded with a crew of 3 and found a pipe had frozen and broke. The water was shut off at the post indicator valve and units cleared.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a car fire. Update from Northampton County Radio advised that the fire was out but the vehicle was leaking gasoline. 28 Command ordered 23 units to hold at station and then, after size up cancelled 23 units.

Dispatched for an Automatic Fire Alarm. Update from Northampton County Radio advised of a water flow alarm. 2311 responded with a crew of 2 and had Station 27 put on stand-by at their station. On arrival a representative from a fire suppression company advised that they had just repaired the broken pipe and turned the water on, which activated the alarm.

West Easton
Dispatched for an auto accident. 2312 responded with a crew of 4, and upon arrival found that a car had spunout and struck a parked car. The 4 occupants of the offending vehicle fled the scene prior to emergency services arrival.

Freemansburg Avenue,
Palmer Township
Dispatched to have an engine crew move up to cover the south end of Palmer Township while they assisted Lower Nazareth Station 53 at a structure fire. 2312 moved up with a crew of 4 and stood by for an hour and a half.
