Dispatched to above area for a wire down, possibly electrical. 2351 responded and held apparatus at station. It was found to be an out of service television cable to a residence. Northampton County Radio was advised to contact the local cable suppliers to check and rectify the situation. Easton Police requested the cable be cut and moved off the roadway. 2351 did this and cleard the scene.

Dispatched with Station 27 for a dwelling fire. Although this was to be an automatic simultaneous dispatch, Northampton County Radio did not dispatch us until 4 minutes after the original dispatch. 2311 responded with a crew of 4 and arrived at scene. The fire was contained to the garage area and under control quickly and 27 Command released our units after 11 minutes on scene.

Dispatched to an Automatic Fire Alarm. Northampton County Radio advised that the alarm company called back requesting a cancellation after receiving proper coding from the premise report burnt food. 2311, with a crew of 5, went to the scene to confirm this and cleared. 3 additional firefighters stood by at station.

Dispatched for a dwelling fire. Fire 27 was automatically dispatched with us. Update from Northampton County Radio advised of a stove fire. 2311 responded with a crew of 4. Upon arrival the homeowner had placed a pan lid over the burner and removed the range from the dwelling. 2351 arrived and recalled station 27 units. Crews checked the kitchen and basement for extension. There was a light smoke condition in the basement with an electrical odor. The electrical service was checked and basement ventilated naturally. It was determined that the problem was an old undersized electical service was the cause or the malfunction. The property owner was instructed to consult an electrician to check his service and correct any problems. 3 additional firefighters stood by at station.

Dispatched with Station 28 for a brush fire. 2311 responded with a crew of 5. 28 Command was having difficulty locating any fire and staged incoming units at the eastbound entrance ramp. After the entire area was checked all units were released and classified it as unfounded.

Dispatched for an automatic fire alarm. Update from Northampton County Radio advised of that pull stations were activated on the 2nd & 3rd floors. 2311 responded with a crew of 4. It was found to be caused by a passing thunderstorm.
