Dispatched with Station 24 for an engine crew to assist with the evacuation of the seven story high occupancy structure. An occupant of apartment 414 reported a strong natural gas odor. Wilson fire arrived and detected a strong odor and began evacuating. Fire 20 was requested for an engine and responded with a crew of 4. 2311 responded with a crew of 5 and was assigned to evacuate floors 3, 2 and 1.

Dispatched for a natural gas odor. 2351 was on scene of a sinkhole with public utilities when a gas service line was compromised. 2311 responded with a crew and stood by in the area until it could be confirmed that there was no leak. The 900 block of Ridge Street was closed for 5 days until the sinkhole was repaired.

Dispatched with Station 27 to stand by for a possible responsefor a working structure fire. 27 units found a 48' box trailer used to store old pallets well involved and requested a response. 2311 responded with a crew of 5 and staged in the area checking for any additional fires started in the area due to the amount of embers. An additional crew of 7 stood by with 2312 until released.

Texas Road off of Gaffney Hill Road

Dispatched with Station 28 for an accident with injuries and entrappment. 2311 responded with 5 and provided manpower assistance. A car struck a tree on the driver front corner with heavy entrappment of the drived and ejection of the passenger. It took approximately an hour to disentangle the patient who had the brake pedal go through his upper leg and open fracture of the lower leg.
